In a season filled with firsts, it has come down to two teams to decide who will be the first champion of the Ontario Elite Hockey League.

The Tavistock Royals were the final champion under the WOAA banner, and will look to become the first OEHL Cup champions, as they return to the dance for the second consecutive season.
Looking to knock the Royals off their perch are the Minto 81’s, who are coming off a convincing five-game series win over the Creemore Coyotes.
Tavistock reached the finals by way of a series win over the first-place Ripley Wolves in the semi-finals. After jumping out to a 3-0 series lead, the Wolves made the Royals sweat it out, pushing the series to six games before bowing out in Tavistock this past Sunday.
Game 1 in the series goes this Saturday, March 23rd in Tavistock, followed by Game 2 and Game 3 in Palmerston. A full series schedule, as well as results can be found on the 2024 Playoffs page.
The winner of the series not only will claim the historic OEHL Cup, but will be crowned OHA Sr. “AA” Champions.

While the OEHL Cup final gets started, the
Hugh McLean Trophy will be awarded to the OHA Sr. A Champions this Sunday.
The Georgian Bay Applekings and Milverton 4 Wheel Drives will conclude a back-and-forth championship series in the best way possible, Game 7.
The winner-take-all final game will be Sunday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. at the Meaford and St. Vincent Community Centre in Meaford.
The winner will be awarded the McLean Trophy, which will be returning to active duty for the first time since 1987.
