Rick Richardson
Commissioner
Mr. Richardson recently retired as the Fire Chief of Blandford-Blenheim Fire Department, culminating a career of 47 years in fire service, including the past 21 years as Chief.
Mr. Richardson’s role within the OEHL is to ensure adherence to the OEHL Manual of Operations, as well as oversee expansion, disciplinary action and dispute resolution.
The Commissioner also represents the interests of the OEHL within the Ontario Hockey Association.
Dennis Watson
Statistician
Dennis Watson recently retired from a 30 year high school teaching career, teaching at Chesley District High School and Owen Sound District Secondary School. He previously refereed 17 years in the OHA in Jr C, B and A leagues, refereeing both Schmaltz Cup and Cherry Cup finals. He also refereed 16 seasons within the WOAA Senior league, refereeing the league AA finals 6 times. After a knee surgery took him off the ice, Watson began his supervisory career with the OHA and has been supervising in the OHA in the Northwest area since 2012. He also continues to officiate and supervise minor hockey.
Gord Lamont
Chair, Board of Directors
Gord has called Saugeen Shores home since long before it was ever called Saugeen Shores. Gord has been a fixture of the hockey scene in Port Elgin, as a player, coach and executive for decades.
